Creating a 'one-time' campaign

In this article, we show you step-by-step how to create a new campaign in which you send all mail at a single moment.

Step 1 — Go to Campaigns and click on "+ New campaign"

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.23.33.pngGo to Campaigns in the left navigation menu. You will see an overview of your existing campaigns. Click the blue + New campaign button in the top right to start the creation process.

Step 2 — Give your campaign a name

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.16.09.pngThe first question you receive is: "What is your campaign name?" Choose a clear, recognizable name so you can easily find the campaign later.

Step 3 — Choose your destination(s)

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.16.29.pngChoose which country (or countries) you want to send to. You can choose from:

  • The Netherlands

  • Germany

  • International – shipping to all countries worldwide

You can select multiple destinations. In this example, The Netherlands is chosen.

Step 4 — Add a product

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.16.35.pngChoose the desired product and format per destination . In this example, a Greeting card SQ14 (Glossy, 280 × 140 mm) is chosen. You immediately see the prices for economy and fast delivery.

Click on Edit to adjust the product.

Step 5 — Choose your finish (coating)

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.16.56.pngVia the "Choose add-ons" modal, you can choose the finish for your card:

  • Glossy – bright, colorful, and shiny

  • Matte – soft, non-shiny, and subtle

Step 6 — Choose the shipping frequency

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.17.06.pngDetermine how often you want to send:

  • One-time – sending all cards at one moment. Ideal for events, one-off campaigns such as Black Friday, Christmas, Mother's Day, or Valentine's Day.

  • Recurring – daily or weekly recurring sending. Ideal for welcome cards, birthdays, winbacks, or new employees.

In this example, One-time has been selected.

Step 7 — Choose your delivery week

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.17.30.pngSelect the week in which your cards should be delivered. On the right, you will see a panel where the costs are estimated . Also select your minimum quantity here:

  • 1+ → max. € 2.69 each

  • 300+ → max. € 1.67 each

💡 The more you send, the lower the price per piece.

Step 8 — Confirm the minimum shipping volume (for 300+)

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.17.43.pngIf you send more than 300 cards, you will receive a notification that we will wait with sending your campaign until you have reached this quantity. Click Next .

Step 9 — Confirm the deadline

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.17.47.pngAfter choosing your delivery week, a notification appears with the deadline for providing addresses .

Check the confirmation ("I acknowledge that the deadline for providing addresses is April 28") and click Continue .

Step 10 — Check your campaign settings

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.17.59.pngYou get an overview of all your choices:

  • Campaign Name: One-off campaign

  • Type: One-time

  • Destination: The Netherlands

  • Product: Greeting card SQ14, Glossy (280 x 140 mm)

  • Delivery week: Week 19

  • Minimum quantity: 300+ → € 1.67 each

Click Agree and save to save the campaign.

Step 11 — Check your design

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.21.34.pngYour campaign has been created! You now see the campaign page with a progress bar: Create campaign ✅ → Add design ✅ → Check your design → Configure your variables → Add items

Click Generate a preview to view your design.

Fill in preview values

To generate a preview, you must fill in sample values for the variables in your design. In this example:

  • {{title}} → "You're invited to our event!"

  • {{message}} → "Hi, you're invited to our event on June 1st. Please RSVP using the QR."

Click Next to continue.

Step 12 — Add a return address

Enter a return address that will be printed on the card. In this example:

  • Name: Print.one

  • Address: Emmawijk

  • Postal Code: 8011CM , City: Zwolle , Country: Netherlands

Click Save to save and generate the preview.

Step 13 — Confirm your design

View the generated preview of your card. If you are satisfied, click "Yes, looks good" to confirm your design. Do you want to adjust something? Then click "Go back and edit" .

Step 14 — Set variables

If your design uses variables (e.g., {{voornaam}}), then in this step you can choose how the system handles missing values. Suppose 'First Name' is not known. Then you select here whether a default value (e.g., sir or madam) should be added or whether the card should not be sent.

Schermafbeelding 2026-04-28 om 10.58.50.pngYou are now at the last step: Add items . You can add recipients in three ways:

  • Import – upload a .csv file with addresses

  • Add item – manually add a recipient

  • Connect integration – link an integration such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, or Mailchimp

Choose one of the options to add your recipients and launch your campaign.
